You Can Lead A Horse To Water...But You Can't Make Him Drink

This statement is so true in life! If you don't understand it then study it closely!  Imagine a moment in your life where you've tried to lead someone down a path opposite than the path they are on and you'll understand the statement completely!  I've done this...tried to lead someone down a different path.  I don't know which hurts worse "leading" them through the conversation or the "words" you have to use to get your point across...

Then, I realized one day that "The Words You Speak REFLECT What Is In Your Heart".  This made the "leading" hurt go away.  Doesn't mean it made it any easier - it just made it make sense.  At the end of the day I think the only thing we can do is PRAY....CALL ON ALL ANGELS to help us help others.  Help us get the words in our heart out without hurting the person listening.  And, if the words hurt them then PRAY that they will see the light of meaning once the words are mulled over during the listeners quite time.  In short you have to be willing to walk away - my sister told me that!  I guess that's the fear that eats me alive is the fear of having to walk away because my leading words did not result in a quenched thirst.  

Now, I know most of you are sitting back trying to read between the lines.  DON'T!  My thoughts are as simple as my life...there is no hidden meaning...merely thoughts that pop into my head from advise I've mulled over in my lifetime.  I just pray that if you have to lead someone with words that you find a bit of peace in knowing that what you say is from the heart and the person listening knows this...they may not know it as the words pour from your mouth - they will eventually realize it...in the end all you can do is PRAY!!!
